Licence to kill
You are very strong?
You think you can carry a tent, something to eat and your tools for working - all in all about 30 kg.
You don't worry about rain or sun, coldness or heat.
You love climbing and being alone.
Then go to Switzerland, but only if you can carry the specimens that you might find down into the valley!
And finally, if you don't want to spend you're night in jail, you need a patent.
For the following cantons, you don't need a patent:
- Genf (Geneva)
- Waadt (Vaud)
- Wallis (Valais) - some exceptions such as Val d'Illiez
This is not the complete list of patent free cantons in Switzerland. But the above-mentioned are the mineral rich cantons (among the patent free).
For the rest of Switzerland you normally need a patent.
